Holtzman Vogel Expands Tennessee Presence with Key Additions, Lauren Topping and Andrew Wilson

Holtzman Vogel, a nationally recognized law firm specializing in political law, regulatory matters, and high-stakes litigation, today announced that Lauren Topping and Andrew Wilson have joined the firm’s Nashville office as Of Counsel and Associate, respectively.

These additions reinforce Holtzman Vogel’s growing footprint in Nashville and underscore the firm’s commitment to deepening its presence in the region. Topping and Wilson’s combined background in government, regulatory, and litigation matters enhances the firm’s ability to provide top-tier service for its clients in Tennessee.

Lauren Topping will focus on election and political law compliance and ethics, drawing on her previous roles as General Counsel to the Tennessee Bureau of Ethics and Campaign Finance and Assistant General Counsel to the Office of Secretary of State. Outside of the office, Topping serves on the policy committee of The Adoption Project, a nonprofit that advocates for children in adoption and foster care-related issues.

Andrew Wilson joins Holtzman Vogel from Burr & Forman LLP, where he was an Associate and specialized in commercial litigation and financial services disputes. He previously clerked for the Honorable Brian S. Miller of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Arkansas and interned for the Consumer Protection Division of the Tennessee Attorney General’s Office.

“The addition of Lauren and Andy reflects our long-term investment in Tennessee and our commitment to offering clients counsel with unmatched local insights,” said Jill Holtzman Vogel, firm founder and managing partner. “Their combined experience in state government, campaign finance, and complex litigation makes them an exceptional fit as we expand our Nashville office.”

Topping and Wilson will work alongside Partners Brandon Smith and Palmer Williams, who joined the firm in April 2025 and July 2025. The expanded team continues to cement Holtzman Vogel as a leading advisor on political, regulatory and litigation matters in the Southeast.

Topping earned her J.D. from Belmont University College of Law and her B.A. in History from Auburn University. Wilson earned his J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law and his B.A. in Economics and English from the University of South Carolina.
