Holtzman Vogel Adds Top Government Affairs Attorney Linley Wilson as Partner in Arizona
Holtzman Vogel, a nationally recognized law firm specializing in political law, regulatory matters, and high-stakes litigation, today announced that Linley Wilson, former Deputy Chief of Staff and General Counsel for the Arizona House of Representatives, has joined the firm’s Arizona office as Partner.
Wilson brings deep expertise in constitutional law, appellate litigation, election law, and government affairs, anchored by more than a decade of leadership in Arizona’s legal and legislative landscape. Her addition reflects the firm’s growth in Arizona and reinforces its roster of attorneys who bring firsthand government experience at the highest levels.
Prior to joining Holtzman Vogel, Wilson provided legal counsel on high-impact legislation and led the legal operations for the state House of Representatives. She advised the Speaker of the House on litigation, provided legal advice and guidance to the Republican Caucus on issues of statewide concern, directed legislative investigations, and played a critical role in evaluating the constitutionality of proposed laws.
Previously, Wilson held senior positions at the Arizona Attorney General’s Office, including Criminal Appeals Chief Counsel and Deputy Solicitor General. She led the Criminal Appeals Section across offices in Phoenix and Tucson, authored amicus briefs in high-profile cases, and advised on election integrity and federalism matters in collaboration with the Solicitor General’s Office.
“Linley is a force in Arizona’s legal community, respected for her judgment, trusted by state leaders, and known for handling the most complex government affairs issues with clarity and conviction,” said Jill Holtzman Vogel, firm founder and managing partner. “We’re thrilled to welcome her to Holtzman Vogel, where her deep experience in political, election, appellate and constitutional law aligns perfectly with our commitment to shaping legal and policy outcomes at the highest levels.”
At Holtzman Vogel, Wilson will work alongside Andrew Gould, Partner and former Arizona Supreme Court Justice, further reinforcing the firm’s capabilities in election law, constitutional litigation, appellate matters, and public policy.
Wilson began her legal career as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Jon W. Thompson at the Arizona Court of Appeals and served as a Law Clerk at the Institute for Justice's Arizona Chapter. She holds a J.D. from the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law and a B.A. in Political Science and Italian, both from Arizona State University.
