Saritha Komatireddy is a Partner at Holtzman Vogel, where she focuses on complex federal investigations, commercial litigation, and appeals. An experienced trial and appellate advocate, Saritha served for over a decade as a federal prosecutor in New York and led high-stakes cases involving international terrorism, cybercrime, transnational criminal enterprises, money laundering, and foreign public corruption.
Saritha served for over ten years as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Eastern District of New York, where she conducted eight jury trials and argued fifteen appeals in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. Saritha was a senior member of EDNY’s National Security & Cybercrime Section and held multiple leadership positions, including as Chief of International Narcotics and Money Laundering, Deputy Chief of Appeals, Deputy Chief of General Crimes, and Computer Hacking and Intellectual Property Coordinator. She led investigations and prosecutions involving terrorism, cybercrime, export controls, economic sanctions, complex fraud, money laundering, foreign public corruption, violent gangs, and narcotics.
Saritha also served as Chief of Staff of the Drug Enforcement Administration.
Saritha received numerous recognitions for her work, including three Attorney General’s Awards, two Federal Drug Agents Foundation True American Hero Awards, and two Federal Law Enforcement Foundation Prosecutor of the Year Awards.
Before her service as a federal prosecutor, Saritha practiced complex civil litigation at a litigation boutique in Washington, D.C., where she was involved in three federal trials, and served as Counsel to the National Commission on the BP Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill and Offshore Drilling, where she worked on the Chief Counsel’s Investigative Team. She began her legal career as a law clerk for the Honorable Brett M. Kavanaugh at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit.
