Kate has served as counsel to a wide array of political entities—from long-standing advisory roles with state party committees to serving as treasurer and counsel to numerous statewide and federal candidate committees, including a U.S. presidential campaign. She regularly advises clients on matters involving federal and state regulatory reporting, entity structure, risk mitigation, and operational efficiency.
Before joining the firm, Kate practiced campaign finance and election law with a political law firm in Alexandria, Virginia. Kate previously founded and led Aspect Consulting, a national consulting firm specializing in campaign finance compliance and operations. Her background also includes experience as in-house corporate counsel and former member and legal advisor to Forte Services, where she supported high-profile corporate and political events with strategic planning and fundraising support. Kate is also a former tavern owner.
