Ann Porter is Of Counsel to Holtzman Vogel and focuses her practice on representing corporations and nonprofits in compliance related to lobbying, registrations and reporting, charitable solicitation, data privacy, 501(c)(3) and (c)(4) exemptions, and corporate governance.

Ann counsels ultra-high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and tax-exempt entities on tax and philanthropic planning (including for political causes) using affiliated 501(c)(3) and (c)(4) organizations, charitable trusts, and private foundations.

Prior to joining the firm, Ann was a trial attorney at the Department of Justice, Tax Division.  Additionally, she was an attorney at the New York City offices of two large law firms.
