Holtzman Vogel Elevates Dallin Holt to Partner

Holtzman Vogel, a nationally recognized law firm specializing in political, regulatory, and litigation matters, announced today that Dallin Holt has been promoted to partner. Formerly Of Counsel in the firm’s Washington, D.C., Northern Virginia, and Arizona offices, Holt brings a decade of experience spanning election, commercial, and appellate litigation. He will split his time between Phoenix and Salt Lake City as he leads the firm’s expansion into Utah.

“Promoting Dallin to partner broadens his role and reach across the western U.S., where the firm’s client base continues to grow,” said Jill Holtzman Vogel, firm founder and managing partner. “Dallin’s extensive background in redistricting and election-related litigation makes him the perfect choice to lead this expansion given the region’s increasing influence in national and local elections.”

Holt joined Holtzman Vogel in 2020 following positions as a civil and commercial litigator in Midland and Dallas, Texas, and as an Assistant City Attorney and Prosecutor for the City of Waco, Texas. In these roles, Dallin tried over 100 cases to final judgment or verdict. During law school, he served as a clerk to United States Magistrate Judge Jeffery C. Manske of the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas. Additionally, prior to attending law school, Holt spent several years as a political communications consultant working with candidates and campaigns for local, state, and federal office. He has also served as an intern for the George W. Bush White House, Governor Jon M. Huntsman, and the Utah Legislature.

A Best Lawyers and Super Lawyers rising star, Holt specializes in complex litigation in the areas of redistricting, the First Amendment, election law, and TCPA compliance.

Holt earned his J.D. from Baylor Law School and his B.A. in American Studies from Brigham Young University.
