Jason Torchinsky was quoted in an article on the Voting Rights Act. A federal appeals court panel will be considering whether private entities can bring lawsuits under a key provision of the law.
"Despite what the practice has been, when you look at the text of the statute there is a real question as to whether there is a private right of action,” stated Jason in the article.
