Hunter Pratt is an associate attorney at Holtzman Vogel and focuses his practice on commercial litigation, constitutional law, and appellate matters.

Before joining the firm, Hunter was an Assistant County Attorney at the Miami-Dade County Attorney’s Office, where he primarily defended the county, its officers, and its employees in civil rights actions in federal court. He also defended the county, its officers, and its employees in tort and wrongful death actions in state court. In these capacities, Hunter handled all aspects of litigation, including taking discovery, drafting dispositive motions, arguing substantive matters, mediating cases, trying cases, and handing appeals.

Previously, Hunter clerked for Judge Paul C. Huck of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida and Judge Barbara Lagoa of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.  He also served as a staff attorney to Justice C. Alan Lawson of the Florida Supreme Court.
