Holtzman Vogel Adds Former Assistant U.S. Attorney for DOJ Alexandria J. Saquella as Associate Attorney

Holtzman Vogel, a nationally recognized law firm specializing in political and regulatory law and litigation, is pleased to announce the addition of Alexandria J. Saquella to its legal team as an associate attorney in the Arizona office.

Saquella has an extensive background in litigation, government investigations, and appellate law. As a former Assistant United States Attorney at the Department of Justice, she successfully prosecuted hundreds of cases, securing convictions across a broad range of federal crimes including drug trafficking and immigration offenses. Saquella has earned a reputation for taking on difficult cases and seeing them through to verdict, leading her to a nomination by the Arizona Prosecuting Attorneys’ Advisory Council for “Rising Star Prosecutor of the Year.”

“Alexandria brings significant courtroom experience, and her background in federal prosecution and appellate work enhances our ability to serve clients facing high-stakes litigation and government scrutiny,” said Jill Holtzman Vogel, firm founder and managing partner. “We’re excited to welcome her to the team to support the rapid growth of our Arizona office and Holtzman Vogel’s expanding presence in the western United States.”

Saquella has deep roots in Arizona, as she was also an Assistant City Prosecutor for the City of Phoenix, managing a variety of criminal cases. Prior to that, she served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable D. Steven Williams at the Arizona Court of Appeals and was a Legal Extern for the Arizona Supreme Court. Prior to law school, she worked at the Arizona Chamber of Commerce and Industry as a registered lobbyist representing the interests of businesses across the state.

Saquella holds a J.D. from Arizona State University, Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, and a B.S. from Northern Arizona University.
