Prior to his service in the White House, Mr. McGinley served as General Counsel to the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC), Deputy Counsel to the Republican National Committee (RNC), and in private practice in Washington, D.C. He has also chaired the George Washington University Law School's Political Law Studies Initiative (PLSI) Steering Committee and served as an Adjunct Professor in federal campaign finance law at the law school. He has been recognized as a "Top Lawyer in Election Law" by Washingtonian Magazine and ranked nationwide in Government and Political Law by Chambers USA.
