Shane Gardiner

Shane Gardiner is a law clerk at Holtzman Vogel, where he focuses on appellate and constitutional law, election law and commercial litigation.

During law school, Shane interned in the chambers of the Honorable Martha M. Pacold of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, drafting opinions and bench memoranda in civil and criminal matters. At Yale, he worked in the Veterans' Legal Services Clinic and the Free Exercise Clinic.

Prior to law school, Shane handled veterans' disability claims as a paralegal, managing a caseload of more than fifty matters, developing claims strategies, and drafting memoranda to the Board of Veterans' Appeals. Additionally, he analyzed and tracked more than sixty proposed bills as a research intern with the Arizona House of Representatives and presented bill summaries before the Commerce Committee.

Shane served in the United States Marine Corps from 2011 to 2015 as a combat engineer in Okinawa and at Camp Pendleton, leading a squad and reaching the rank of corporal.
