Thor Christianson is an associate with Holtzman Vogel where he focuses on litigation, compliance, conflicts, and ethics.

Prior to joining the firm, Thor served as an Attorney Advisor at the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), where he advised a Commissioner on policy decisions, subpoena determinations, and private and federal sector cases forwarded to the Commission.

Previously, he worked at the U.S. Department of Education in the Office of Postsecondary Education. In that role, he worked on the implementation of COVID-19 relief measures enacted by Congress for colleges and universities. Before that, Thor served as White House Liaison at the U.S. Department of Agriculture. In this position, he was responsible for managing all personnel matters for over 200 political appointees. He also served as a Research Associate in the White House Office of Presidential Personnel and was previously a White House intern in the Office of the Speechwriter.

Prior to law school, Thor served as an AmeriCorps member for Impact Alabama (now Impact America), where he prepared taxes for low-income individuals and coached an inner-city high school debate team.
